Recently, I spoke to a colleague about video games and he answered “Yeah, my young son is addicted to video games and I don’t know what to do about it”. In my intellect I thought, really? Your young son is addicted to a game that has parental controls that can be locate in place to limit his game playing, and you affirm he’s addicted? While it is fair that I do not know all of the circumstances of my colleague’s family lifetime, my first thoughts revolved encircling the concept of this father accusing his minor of an addiction.
